- Wix, Squarespace, Weebly: add an Embed, Code or HTML element and paste the code.
- Blogger, Ghost, Notion-style site builders: use the HTML or embed block and paste the code.
- A hand-written page: paste it straight into your HTML where the map should appear.
What visitors see
A map of the Earth with the International Space Station moving across it in real time. The station’s position is calculated in the visitor’s browser from the latest orbital elements published by CelesTrak, using the same SGP4 model as the main tracker, and updates every second. The optional track shows the path for the last and next 45 minutes, so visitors can see where it has been and where it is heading. A strip under the map shows the current latitude, longitude and altitude. Clicking ISS Live Tracker opens the full tracker, with pass predictions for the visitor’s own location.
Privacy and performance
The widget sets no cookies, uses no analytics and stores nothing in the visitor’s browser. It loads map images from Esri’s public tile service and a small amount of code from this site. It does not show advertising. It is loaded lazily, so it does not slow down the rest of your page, and it never captures the mouse wheel, so it will not interfere with scrolling.
Terms of use
The widget is free for personal, educational and commercial sites. Please leave the attribution link in place and do not copy the widget’s code to another host. If your site gets a very large amount of traffic or you need something different, such as another satellite or a fixed location, get in touch.
